Chest. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and breathe normally.
Waist. Measure around your natural waistline, where you normally wear your trousers, keeping one finger between the tape and your body.
Best practice. Measure over a shirt, not a jacket, and have someone help for the most accurate reading.
